Courses Offered

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a prerequisite to take up secondary/senior secondary school teaching. The College offers a one year B.Ed course with a mandatory teaching period as internship-in-teaching.

The college has 100 seats in all. Of the total 100 seats, 75% are allotted by the convener and 25% fall under Management quota.

Admission Procedure
There is a common entrance test (Ed.CET) conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE). Passing in the entrance is a must for the admission to the course.

Eligibility
To qualify for a seat in this college, the candidate must have secured at least 45% marks in Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with at least two subjects at graduation level as eligible for admission. Admission to the college is made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination or in the entrance examination conducted by the AP State Council for Higher Education. There shall be reservation for SC/ST/OBC, Handicapped, Women and other strata as prescribed by the State Government.

Fee Structure
The fee prescribed for a one year B.Ed course is Rs.16,500/- per year for the 75% seats allotted by the convener. The fee for 25% seats of management quota is at the discretion of the management.
